Today was the last scheduled from shore fishing tournament for the Treasure Coast Chapter of Junior Teen Anglers for this school year. I would like to welcome 3 new Juniors -- Ryan Fitzpatrick and Connor & Westleigh Karns. We had a total of 16 Juniors fishing and they caught 34 fish! All of the fish were released.
Savannah Ward was the first one to the scales with a 13oz puffer -- she also had a 2 catfish with one weighing 2lb. 7oz.. Taylor Roop was right behind her with a 8oz. sandperch and she had 2 more fish. Michael Rochedieu was next with a 9oz. puffer and he had 2 more fish. Andrew Evans had 2 nice rockfish and 2 snapper. Laine Pruitt brought a total 9 nine assorted fish. Mackenzie Tessier caught a 9oz puffer. Ashton Smith caught a nice 1lb. 9oz. blue runner. Thomas Roop had a total of 7 assorted fish. We don't have an award for the oddest catch but, Mackenzie Tessier caught several really nice blue crabs -- too bad we didn't have any garlic and butter!!
